To that end, we are on a mission to ensure that every veteran receives The Best Care Possible® when it comes to healthcare services and his or her health and well-being.
The Mission Act changed everything in June 2019 when Congress established...
…a separate bucket of money to be shared among COMMUNITY PHYSICIANS IN THE PRIVATE SECTOR for treating veterans.
Only 40% of all veterans have anything to do with the VA when it comes to healthcare.
But in order for the Feds to pay for your medical services in the private sector under The Mission Act, a veteran patient must engage his or her VA HEALTH BENEFITS.
And take it from an old Navy man:
The Best Care Possible® is found by utilizing both private sector as well as the VA for healthcare services.
The VA is world class when it comes to diagnostic care as well as emergency medicine, but trust me that it your right to have a Board-certified Surgeon working with a team performing surgery on you, and this might mean going to a COMMUNITY HOSPITAL in the private sector.
AND THIS IS EVERY VETERAN'S RIGHT UNDER FEDERAL LAW.
